What is it?

GHB is a naturally occurring component of human cells. It is a sedative used as both a sleep aid and a recreational intoxicant. It is known for its ability to induce a short (coma-like) sleep in high doses as well as its use as an aphrodisiac and in drink spiking.

GBL is a precursor to GHB and therefore must convert to GHB once taken into the body. This means that it can take up to twice as long to feel the effects. GBL is often sold as GHB or G, it is impossible to visually tell the difference between GBL and GHB.
